January Cacao Ceremony

Join us each month as we gather in sacred circle to slow down, connect, and open our hearts through the medicine of cacao. Together, we honor the changing seasons, share gratitude, and remember our connection to one another and the Earth.

Cacao’s medicine invites us to soften, to listen, and to speak from the heart rather than the mind. This gentle plant spirit reminds us to receive and send out gratitude, deepen presence, and awaken our capacity for love and connection.

Date: Sunday January 24th
Time: 12:30pm-2pm
Location: TBA

What is Cacao?

Ceremonial cacao is a pure, unprocessed form of chocolate made from the whole cacao bean — the same plant that chocolate comes from, but in its most natural and medicinal state. Known as the “food of the gods,” cacao has been used for thousands of years by Indigenous cultures of Central and South America as a sacred plant medicine for opening the heart and deepening connection.

Rich in magnesium, antioxidants, and theobromine, cacao gently energizes the body while calming the mind. Many experience a feeling of warmth, love, and emotional openness after drinking it — helping us connect more deeply with ourselves, one another, and the living earth.

Cacao’s Medicine

Cacao’s medicine is gentle yet powerful — reminding us to slow down, to breathe, and to truly receive the gifts that are already here. When we drink cacao with intention, she becomes a mirror — inviting us to speak from the heart instead of the mind, to listen with softness, and to move through life in connection rather than control.

Cacao teaches us that gratitude is both an offering and a practice — a rhythm that flows in and out, like breath. She helps us remember how to receive love as easily as we give it, to send gratitude outward into the world, and to feel the pulse of life beating within us.

When we sit with her in ceremony, we’re reminded that love is not something to seek — it’s something to remember.

What is a Cacao Ceremony?

A cacao ceremony is a heart-centered ritual — an intentional gathering where we drink cacao together in sacred space. Unlike a typical social setting, this is not about performance or expectation, but about presence. We come together to listen, to share, to open, and to remember the gratitude already living within us.

During the ceremony, Neo will guide you through a meditative journey — using cacao as a bridge between the physical and spiritual heart. You’ll be invited to reflect, journal, and share in community, allowing cacao’s spirit to move gently through you.
