2026 Gentle & Soulful Women's Backpacking Retreats

You don't need experience.

You don't need the right gear.

You don't need to be ready.

You just need the part of you that's been waiting — and the willingness to show up.

We walk in slowly. We set up camp beside the water. We stay.

Four days in the Oregon wilderness — no rushing, no pushing, no proving anything. Small groups of six women, moving at the pace of the land, held by ceremony, silence, and each other.

This is not a fitness challenge. It's a homecoming.

What this is really about

We live in a world that tells us to push harder, need less, and ask for nothing. To earn rest. To prove we belong.

These retreats are a different kind of invitation.

I'm not here to lead you through the wilderness — I'm here to walk beside you. I bring 15+ years of backpacking experience, and everything I know is yours. The gear knowledge, the trail wisdom, the packing systems — I share all of it, not so you depend on me, but so you leave knowing you could do this yourself.

Because I believe you already have everything you need to lead yourself. You just haven't been given the right support yet.

This is a circle, not a hierarchy. Every woman here brings something. Every woman here receives something. We move together, we rest together, we learn from each other. That's not a feature of these retreats — it's the whole point.

You are not a guest in the wilderness. You belong here.

The homecoming

Most of us have spent years moving away from ourselves — getting faster, getting busier, getting smaller in ways we didn't even notice.

The wilderness doesn't ask you to be anything other than what you are.

At basecamp, beside the water, something starts to loosen. The ceremonies hold space for what needs to be released. The silence makes room for what wants to return. The women around you reflect back something you may have forgotten.

By the time you hike out, you won't just feel rested. You'll feel like yourself again.

What makes these retreats different

Most backpacking trips are about the miles. These are about what happens when you stop.

We go slow and intentional — short daily distances, long hours at basecamp, space to actually exhale. Every retreat includes elemental healing ceremonies, guided meditation, a half-day of silence, and an invitation for each woman to offer something of her own to the circle — a meditation, a movement practice, an art experience, a piece of her inner life shared beside the water.

The wilderness does the rest.

“I didn’t know what to expect. Looking back at my experience, I feel it was good and came with challenges from nature (weather) that was out of our control. Really helped me prepare next time on what I need to bring and what wasn’t necessary. Indian Heaven Wilderness was absolutely beautiful.”

“This weekend backpacking retreat was held in such a beautiful location and group was warm and supportive. It was so helpful to have instruction and support. Grateful to both you, Neo and Amanda for helping me with my pack and the weight of it and tent set up ect., having transportation was an added bonus too.” -Pauline-

Reflecting on past backpacking retreats fills my heart with gratitude! The healing, connection, and sense of community that blossomed on the trail were truly a gift. Each journey was more than just miles hiked—it was a space for deep self-discovery, growth, and shared experiences in the wild. Thank you to every soul who showed up with an open heart, ready to play, heal, and embrace the wisdom of nature. Here's to more adventures, more transformation, and more moments of magic on the trail! 🌿🏔️✨
