Cancellation & Refund Policy

I know life is unpredictable, and sometimes plans change. My intention is to be clear and transparent about my cancellation policy so you can make your decision with full confidence. Please read through before registering.

Participant Cancellations

If you need to cancel your spot:

More than 3 weeks before the retreat: You'll receive a full refund, minus your non-refundable deposit ($200 for Early Bird payment plans / $250 for Regular payment plans). If you paid in full, the deposit amount will be withheld and the remainder refunded.

Less than 3 weeks before the retreat: No refund is available. Because I've already committed to food, permits, and logistics based on your spot, I'm unable to offer refunds within this window.

Transfer option: If you need to cancel but another 2026 retreat date works for you, I'm happy to transfer your registration (and deposit) to an available date — as long as you let me know more than 3 weeks before your original retreat date.

Retreat Cancellation by Trail Based Healing

If I need to cancel:

In the rare event a retreat doesn't meet the minimum registration of 4 participants, I will notify you 3 weeks before the retreat start date. You will receive:

  • A full refund, or the option to transfer to another 2026 retreat date

I will never cancel a retreat less than 3 weeks out due to enrollment — that decision window is firm so you have time to adjust your plans.

In the case of extreme weather, emergency, or circumstances outside my control, I will communicate as soon as possible and work with you toward the fairest resolution I can offer.

Non-Refundable Deposit

Your deposit holds your spot and covers planning costs that begin immediately. Deposits are non-refundable regardless of cancellation timing.

  1. - Payment plan Early Bird deposit: $200

  1. - Payment plan Regular deposit: $250

  2. - Full pay registrants: A deposit equivalent is withheld upon cancellation
