Healing hikes are an embodied experience of walking silently paired with teachings designed by natures elements, a sharing circle of reflection and community building, and ending with letting your inner child play in Mother Nature. Trail Based Healing was created to share my own personal healing’s I found on the trail and integrate them into a daily life healing practice.

What if I have never hiked before?

I welcome all types and hiking experiences! Each hike will clearly state how easy, moderate, or hard the trail will be, how many miles, and how long you can expect to be out there.

What do I bring?

The basic hiking gear list is: Backpack, Water, Snacks/Food, Weather Dependent clothing, Hiking Shoes, and a First Aid Kit. Each hike has different variables to consider to change gear but I will always list what to bring and what other suggested gear to bring on each hike.

What is a healing hike? and how does it differ from a normal hike?

Healing hikes are designed to introduce and practice different healing modalities common to alternative therapy. In group hikes, I will facilitate by guiding the group with meditations, mindfulness tools, reflections, and healing group activities. Setting an intention to have a collective experience and learn something new makes this a unique adventure.
